Visa
This only applies to foreign teams coming from countries where a visa is required to visit Norway.
People from some countries can visit Norway without a visa, but most people from countries outside the EU/EEA must apply for a visitor visa. It is important that you submit your visa application more than three months before your planned departure, and that the application is correct and completely filled out. You can find information about the requirements and the application process here: Do you need a visa for the Norway Cup – UDI.
If you have any further questions about the application process, waiting times or documentation, please contact VFS Global via www.vfsglobal.com .
If VFS cannot assist you with your inquiry, please contact the relevant embassy via their website www.norway.no .
What does Norway Cup need?
Before Norway Cup can send an invitation to your club/team/embassy in connection with a visa application, we need the following documents from you:
- The team must be a member of its national football association, which is affiliated with FIFA.
- The team must register their participation online:
https://reg.cupmanager.net/6339495,en/j/public/reg - All fees must be paid (registration and participation fees).
- A list of names of all players, coaches and team managers, including dates of birth and passport numbers.
- Once the team has been granted a visa, Norway Cup requires confirmation from the airline that the team has booked return tickets.
If your team needs to apply for a visa, or if you have any questions related to visas, please send an email to: nc@bsknc.no
If the team is not granted a visa, the participation fee will be refunded (the registration fee is non-refundable).
After July 1st, we unfortunately do not have the opportunity to refund hotel rooms booked through Norway Cup.
