Hofmo's commemorative trophy / best club
The Rolf Hofmo Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Norwegian club with the best results. Every three years a walking trophy is also awarded.
Norwegian athlete and politician
Rolf Hofmo was a Norwegian sportsman and politician who represented the Labour Party. He was the man who secured Ekebergsletta as an area for sports and outdoor activities. Rolf Hofmo died on May 11, 1966, at the age of 67.
He worked in the Oslo Municipality with outdoor areas, halls and parks as his field. He had a big goal. It was to create conditions for children and young people so that they would have the best possible upbringing conditions in the Oslo Municipality.
