Watch crew during Norway Cup

We are looking for organizations and clubs who want to take on the security duties at the schools we use during the Norway Cup. In addition to money in the club's coffers, we can promise a week with lots of great experiences!

What does the job involve?

As a security guard, you are responsible for ensuring that everyone who lives at the school is safe and well. The number of people living at the schools varies.

  • The school will be staffed 24 hours a day from Saturday week 30 to Sunday week 31.
  • The school will be taken over on Friday to check that everything is OK, and to familiarize themselves before guests arrive on Saturday.
  • Breakfast will be served to everyone living at the school.
  • The guards clean up trash throughout the day, while the cleaners do laundry and clean up during their rounds.

One point we value highly is the safety of those who live and work at the school during the tournament. The guards are the face of Norway Cup and the first - and last - guests meet every day. It is therefore important to be service-minded and focus on ensuring that everyone has a good time. It is also important that the guard team has good cooperation with the school's caretaker.

Who can be a watchman?

To perform the job in the best possible way, it is important to have the right staff at all times. Norway Cup has a requirement that there must always be 2 people over 20 years of age on duty. Participation in a fire safety course is mandatory for those who will be responsible - this is arranged and paid for by Norway Cup in advance of the tournament. All guards must have a police certificate.

Depending on the number of people living at the school, there should be at least:

  • 4-7 people per night (awake night guards)
  • 4-5 people during breakfast
  • 2 people during the day
  • 4-5 people per evening

Compensation and opportunity for extra income

There is a possibility for extra income from kiosk sales, preferably of waffles, hot toast, etc. This must be agreed with Norway Cup in advance as not all schools have this option.

The remuneration for a guard team is NOK 70,000-100,000. The number of participants per school defines the remuneration. In addition to money in the club treasury, you help strengthen the internal cohesion, and we can promise a week with lots of good experiences!
