Would you like to help create magical moments for thousands of children and young people from all over the world? Norway Cup is now looking for a committed and structured Culture Manager for the tournament's events team!
As the Culture Manager, you will be one of our key volunteers and an important part of the tournament management. The role involves planning, coordinating and implementing the cultural offer during the Norway Cup. You will be responsible for implementing the celebrity match, the mascot match, our prize giving ceremonies and various cultural events from our stage. You will also be responsible for coordinating the event that we hold every year in Oslo City Hall together with the Municipality of Oslo. You will also have an important coordinating role in connection with the opening show. This show is performed by a professional actor.
In the role of culture manager, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with committed people from different backgrounds, gain experience from one of the world's largest sporting events and contribute to young people having memories for life. This role is considered voluntary at Norway Cup, and you will receive a small allowance. The planning period extends from March to July, and long working days must be expected in weeks 30 and 31. Then an evaluation in August to September.
Main tasks
- Planning and coordination of Norway Cup's cultural program, including activities, stage program, entertainment and social meeting places.
- Participate in regular meetings with tournament management and other responsibilities throughout the spring and summer.
- Dialogue with activity managers and partners, including obtaining offers and coordinating implementation.
- Prepare travel plans and ensure good logistics around the cultural and activity program.
- Assist with budget monitoring and prioritization related to cultural initiatives.
- Be on site and available during tournament week (last week in July) to follow up on activities, resolve challenges and ensure that everything is carried out safely and professionally.
- Ensure good volunteer and artist experiences through safe coordination and good communication.

- I am confident in my role as a coordinator and enjoy working with many different people.
- Have experience from events, cultural work, festivals, sports, or other relevant organization - but this is not a requirement.
- Is solution-oriented, energetic and can withstand a high pace during the tournament itself.
- I want to contribute to ensuring that children and young people from all over the world have an unforgettable week.
