In collaboration with the Norwegian Football Association and General Sponsor Kiwi, Norway Cup introduced match hosts at all youth matches in 2023. In 2024, we will introduce match hosts at all matches, also for Norway Cup Handball!

The role of the match host per team is to contribute to a safe and positive environment for all players, referees and spectators both on and off the field. A joint community project of the Norway Cup's core values. 

A match steward is a person who is present on the field during matches to maintain fair play and a good atmosphere around the match. In addition to giving players and spectators a sense of security by having a match steward present, we want the referee to also have a good experience throughout the match. We believe that the yellow vest can symbolize the respect and fairness that everyone present deserves for a good match experience.

Both teams are responsible for providing a match host for each match. The yellow vest can be collected from the secretariat during check-in.
