With our participant wristbands you get free admission to several museums and attractions in Oslo.

Free entry ONLY applies during the tournament (from Saturday in week 30 to Sunday in week 31).

Oslo Museum

Oslo Museum is a cultural history museum that conveys Oslo's history, with a focus on urban history and development, labor history, theater history and cultural diversity. The public can visit us in Frognerparken, at Grønland and at Sagene.

Norwegian Maritime Museum

The Norwegian Maritime Museum is a nationwide museum responsible for collecting, researching and communicating maritime cultural heritage. The museum is rich in experiences and activities with indoor and outdoor exhibitions in a unique maritime environment. The museum is part of the Norwegian Folk Museum Foundation.

The Defence Museum

The main museum of the Armed Forces has been located at Akershus Fortress since 1860. In the old arsenal building you can learn more about the strategy, technology and people who have made up the Armed Forces in Norway's history.

Natural History Museum

Norway's largest natural history museum with six million natural science objects and over 750,000 visitors each year. Research, management of the collections and dissemination of natural diversity are the museum's main tasks.

The Norwegian Museum og Science and Technology

The Technical Museum in Oslo is Norway's national museum for technology, industry, science and medicine. The museum offers exciting exhibitions for both children and adults, with everything from historical inventions to modern technology. Through interactive installations, experiments and stories, the museum shows how technology has shaped our society - and how it affects the future.

Nobel Peace Center

The Nobel Peace Center is the museum for the Nobel Peace Prize, centrally located on Rådhusplassen in the heart of Oslo. Come and experience our exhibitions, events and tours inspired by the ideas and work of the Peace Prize laureates.

Oslo Reptile Park

NB! There is NOT free admission to Oslo Reptilpark, but you get a 50% discount with a participant wristband.

In Oslo Reptile Park you can see many colorful and exciting animals! We have snakes, lizards, turtles, fish, spiders, monkeys and many other animals you might not see very often. Welcome to a different kind of wildlife – in the middle of Oslo!

Fram Museum

The Fram Museum in Oslo is one of Norway's most exciting museums, and a perfect place for both tourists and locals. The museum tells the story of Norwegian polar expeditions and the famous polar ship Fram , which you can actually board yourself. Here you get to experience real polar history up close, with interactive exhibitions, films and impressive details from the expeditions of, among others, Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen. You should go there because it is both educational, unique and inspiring - and because it gives a very special feeling of adventure and Norwegian history.

Kon-Tiki Museum

The Kon-Tiki Museum in Oslo is an exciting museum that tells the story of Thor Heyerdahl and his famous expeditions. The museum is best known for the original Kon-Tiki, the raft Heyerdahl sailed across the Pacific in 1947. Here, visitors can learn about adventure, research and discovery through exhibitions, films and artifacts from his travels. NB. If players are under 16 years of age, they must be accompanied by an adult.

The Rose Castle

REMEMBRANCE – AWARENESS – HOPE 

Come experience the Rose Castle – an outdoor art installation overlooking Oslo

Walk through more than 300 paintings and sculptures immersed in nature with the backdrop of a spectacular view of the city.

Through art, the focus of the exhibition is to: 

remember the struggle for freedom between 1940-1945, highlighting individual stories from the time 

raise awareness of humanistic views, our connection with humanity and the democratic principles that we must strive to protect

bring hope – by highlighting the individual's power to stand firm, strengthening the knowledge that freedom begins with one choice

The art installation was created by Norwegian artists Vebjørn Sand and Eimund Sand. The park is suitable for all age groups, is universally designed and can be experienced all year round. The Rose Castle offers private guided tours and has a café where you can try the best waffle in Oslo. The Rose Castle organizes family activities and concerts.

The National Museum

The National Museum in Oslo is the largest art museum in the Nordic region and one of Norway's most important cultural buildings. The museum opened in 2022 and brings together art, architecture and design under one roof. Here, visitors can experience both classic works, such as The Scream by Edvard Munch, and modern exhibitions. The building is centrally located at Aker Brygge and is a popular place for both tourists and art enthusiasts.

Make a summer sketchbook!

Join us in creating your own sketchbook that you can take with you on summer vacation.

With your very own sketchbook you can draw and paint ideas, memories and wonderful experiences from your summer vacation. With paper in different colors and textures, you can choose the size of your sketchbook. After you have put it together, you can decorate the outside of the book with collages and illustrations.

Feel free to take a look at the National Museum's collection where you will find both exhibited sketches and summer motifs.

The workshop is suitable for everyone, but is recommended for ages 4 and up.
