Practical information Visa Your team may need a visa to join Norway Cup What do Norway Cup need? Before Norway Cup can send an invitation to the club/team/embassy for visa application, we need following documents from you: The teams must be members of their national FA affiliated to the FIFA The team must register their participation online : https://reg.cupmanager.net/6339495,en/j/public/reg All fees must be paid (registration and participation fees) List of names of all players, coaches and team leader with birthdates and passport numbers https://udi.no/en/important-messages/need-a-visa-for-norway-cup/ If your team needs to apply for Visa or if you have questions about visa send an e-mail to: nc@bsknc.no When is the deadline for registration? 1st of June 2023 When is the payment deadline? The registration must be paid within 30 days, and no later that 13th of June (no refund). The deadline for payment of all other services is 13th of June 2023. How many players can one team bring? On a team roster, there can be up to 24 players. In order to participate in the Norway Cup, the players must be listed on the designated team roster. When is the deadline for submitting team lists? The team lists must be entered electronically in the registration system by 1st of July. When is the match setup published? The match setups will be published around 22th of June. When will the first match be played The preliminary round for all classes begins on Sunday 30th July How many matches does one team play? In the agegroups 11 years + 12 years, everyone plays against everyone without a final round, and can expect 6-7 matches depending on how big the groups are. The 13-19 age groups have at least 3 preliminary matches in addition to at least one playoff match. Playoffs The two best teamsgo to the A-playoffs and the rest of the group goes to the B-playoffs. The playoffs start on Wednesday, and the finals are played on Friday and Saturday. Finals for 7aside and 9aside are played on Friday while the finals for 11aside are played on Saturday. Is there a level division in the classes? Norway Cup is a broad tournament without division into levels. When will we know which school we will live at? The accomodation schools will be published in Cupmanager around 1st July. You can enter a wish about which school you want to live at, but we cannot promise that everyone will have their wishes fulfilled. Parents/team leaders can take turns staying at the school. They can buy the number of A-cards for those staying overnight and at the "change of duty", the incoming/outgoing must come to the secretariat to have their bands changed. Family members can use the same offer as participants (hotel accommodation) at the same prices. ALL teams regardless of where they come from have the opportunity to overnight.
