The host from the Norway Cup show at Saturday, was one of the players who participated in the Celebrity Match Wednesday. Marte Bratberg played on the MOT/Right to Play team.
Martes’s team did not come out of the clash with Team Global Goal with a win, they had to accept a tricky 5-3 loss. Normally Marte is a host on the morning show at the Norwegian radio channel NRJ. Quite a big contrast to the Celebrity Match appearance here at Ekebergsletta.
Marte said she was very pleased with both the game and the efforts of the other players. Despite good effort, though, she said she did not feel as good as the other players. She also tried to tackle the rapper Turab repeatedly, but she said he was too fast for her.
– As for who I was most impressed with, I do not want to say Mats Zuccarello (New York Rangers/NHL star) because he impresses every year. I also have to say that the defense I made with the famous actor from Skam (TV show), Ulrikke Falch was reasonably impressive. Ulrikke and I are also relatively similar when it comes to football talent, but I’m perhaps a slightly worse version of Ulrikke in every way, and not just on the football pitch, Bratberg said with a big smile.
The radio host said she would definitely join the Celebrity Match next year as well. Her plan is to practice “everything” in order to close the gap to the other participants, she laughs.
