Norway Cup 2020 is cancelled

Dear Norway Cup friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that Norway Cup 2020 is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world.

Since 1972, we have made it our mission to create a week of fun, friendship, and the loves of sports, for both Norwegian and international teams. For all of us at Norway Cup, it will be a different year, as we are not going to welcome thousands of  talented players, dedicated leaders, devoted referees, excited parents, hard- working volunteers, and loyal partners from around the globe to Ekebergsletta in week 31.

This year, we have to put the safety and health of our participants before the love of football.  Together, we have to show solidarity for the most vulnerable people in society, and to keep each other safe.

Football knows no boundaries and has the power to unite everyone across cultures, age, and social status. Therefore, Norway Cup is an important arena for cultural exchange and the love of sports, making new friends and having fun across cultures and countries. International teams are an important part of Norway Cup, and we looked forward to welcoming you to our ever-growing Norway Cup family in 2021!

All teams can choose to either get their registration fee refunded or transfer their payment as registration for Norway Cup 2020.

All teams that have registered for this year, will receive further information regarding the procedure next week .

Thank you for your understanding and continuous support.

Stay safe and take care of each other!

All the best,

Norway Cup
