Norway Cup has brought on a new international partner – LEGO System A / S – on a new 2-year agreement.
LEGO (R) will create fun activities for children and young people at Ekebergsletta throughout Norway Cup and will bring with them prizes and lots of other fun stuff.
LEGOs activities will be part of the popular concept “Fun Park”, where participants have had the opportunity to test fun activities like snowboarding, climbing and skateboarding.
Exactly what activities LEGO will offer is not 100% set yet, but Norway Cup can reveal that it will include a Duplo area for the youngest, LEGO Boost, building competitions and various digital competitions.
– Getting LEGO on the team is of course a big boost for us – not only for our Fun Park, but for the whole tournament. LEGO is an international icon among young and old throughout the world, and a brand that is associated with innovation, joy and fun. Which match exactly how we want Norway Cup to appear, says Trygve Nielsen.
LEGO, in turn, is very pleased to work with the world’s biggest football tournament:
– Having good opportunities for playing is of crucial importance for children’s development and well-being. Our Play Well Report from 2018 shows that both children and adults would like to have more time to play. Therefore, we are pleased that our cooperation with Norway Cup gives children – and adults – an opportunity to play in between exciting football matches,” says Line Ann La Cour, Brand Relations and Events Manager, Nordic Marketing in LEGO.
