The Spanish league, LaLiga, are joining us at Norway Cup this summer. We’ve had a chat with Gorka Herrero, LaLiga delegate in Scandinavia & The Baltic Countries, about the new partnership.
Why have LaLiga decided to partner up with Norway Cup?
LaLiga is always looking for key partnerships in a global scale through which we can highlight our commitment to youth football development. In this sense, we think partnering with Norway Cup is a great match since they are one of the largest and most international youth football tournament in the World.
What can our participants look forward to at LaLiga’s Fan Zone and activities?
LaLiga will bring exciting entertainment to all participants during Norway Cup. There will be different kind of activities, but all of them will be related to football education and entertainment. We want all participants to have fun with LaLiga activities during the tournament.
What is LaLiga looking forward to the most about attending Norway Cup?
The most important thing for us is to be close to our fans, and try to deliver them great football and entertaining experiences. Norway Cup is a great opportunity since we will have the opportunity to meet thousands of our international fans in one week.
What do you hope to get out of this partnership?
We are expecting to have big impact in the Nordic countries but also in a global scale since Norway Cup it’s an international tournament. We want to increase our huge number of international fans making them experience great moments through football education and entertaining activities. We also expect to make this partnership become a success story around the world through digital and media communication.
