On Wednesday – the annual goalkeeping water challenge took place at Ekebergsletta. With the kind co-operation of the Oslo Fire Brigade, the NFF setup a fun competition with ex-International goalkeeper Frode Grodås hosting proceedings.
The Fire Brigade trained their hoses on a goal to make the grass as wet as possible. Players lined up to have a turn in goal to attempt to save as many penalty kicks as they could – whilst being soaked with the hoses.
In difficult conditions, most of the players managed to do very well, with some very good saves being made.
As a prize, each player was given a special t-shirt and good memories of the day they were tutored by a player who appeared in the Premier League and World Cup.
